2010 ESSENCE MUSIC FESTIVAL

E ssence presented the Healthy Living Fair in partnership with the U.S. Army at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for Performing Arts. The day included interactive health stations and screenings, distribution of preventative care information, workshops, live entertainment and LisaRaye and Carla Ferrell (The Steve Harvey Morning Show) were in the building to help out.

E ssence Youth Outreach Program featured messages of empowerment from speakers who shared stories of their personal triumphs, including singer, Michelle Williams, sport stars, Darren Sharper, Chris Paul, Leigh Torrence, and Jahri Evans.
