MARY J. BLIGE MAKES HISTORY WITH THE NEW YORK YANKEES

Nine-time Grammy-winning singer Mary J. Blige gave the nation chills when she sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Yankee Stadium Wednesday, when the New York Yankees won their historic 27th World Series title over the Philadelphia Phillies.
In related news, Mary J. Blige appears on the soundtrack for “Precious: Based on the novel Push by Sapphire”. Available through online retailers this week, the soundtrack accompanies the anticipated film, which opens in theaters today.
Mary’s ninth album “Stronger” will be in stores this December.
