REGINA BELLE SUFFERING FROM UNDETECTED ILLNESS

regina belleGrammy® Award-winning songstress, Regina Belle, announced a few days ago that an undetected illness and two surgeries will limit her from continuing to make appearances and performances. Regina faces a long road of recovery and hopes her fans and supporters continue to understand.  Regina underwent the first of two surgeries and is recuperating successfully in her home in Atlanta. Regina has been experiencing great success with her gospel project, “LOVE FOREVER SHINES” and has been consistently touring and promoting the the album since its release last May.  In an open letter to her fans, Regina writes “I have had the first of two surgeries to correct my illness and because “GOD IS GOOD” the first surgery went wonderfully! The healing time requires no singing or flying for a 3 month period…my second surgery will take place in six months, and I will have another 2 month recovery period….I really believe that God heals!”

Remember Regina’s hit, from back in the day”Make It Like It Was”? That was
my jam! Little known fact is that song was written by Carvin Winans.  Carvin first presented “Make It Like It Was” to his brothers, who rejected the tune while gathering material for their “Decisions” album. While attending a play in New York, Carvin met Regina Belle and they exchanged phone numbers. He later sent her a piano/vocal demo of “Make It Like It Was,” and she instantly fell in love with the gentle ballad and the rest was history.

WE ARE PRAYING FOR YOU REGINA!!!
