STUFF I HAVE HEARD BULLETIN

Bravo may be expanding their “Real Housewives” franchise. I saw an email sent to the New Orleans Hornets Director of Community Affairs office from a Bravo/NBC producer. And it sounds like the franchise is going to New Orleans. The email states that the producer (the same one who produced the other “Housewives” cities) is looking for New Orleans women who are interested in possibly being featured in a possible “Real Housewives Of New Orleans” show. So of course, said producer wanted to reach out to the NBA wives and community first. One of our New Orleans sources tells us that Hornets baller Chris Paul’s fiance Jada is already in talks to be a part of the cast. The producer is currently reaching out to certain organizations in the city to gauge women’s interest in the show. The New Orleans cast would join the current casts of O.C., New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and the currently taping Beverly Hills. I also heard that other future cities could be D.C., Dallas, and Boston.
I hope Mathew Knowles practiced his “You Are The Father” dance/storm off the Maury set act. Because, according to the DNA tests results are in. And in the case of Baby Nixon and mistress Alexasandra Wright….Papa Knowles is indeed the daddy. Mat’s been paying $8200/month in temporary child support as they awaited the test results. And now I’m sure that number is going to at least triple. I know MaMa Tina can’t wait till her divorce papers are final.
Wow. In breaking news, Lance Gross and Eva Marcille have called it quits! This split comes just months before their July 17th wedding date. Rumors were buzzing around Superbowl time that the two were on the rocks after a huge argument that weekend. And now, they have offered up this joint statement: “Lance Gross and Eva Marcille have mutually decided to end their relationship. The split is completely amicable.” They also said both remain friends. They let me down, I was really pulling for them to make it.
Remember last week when I told you about Oprah being sued by Nomvuyo Mzamane, former head mistress at her school. She claimed Oprah defamed her with remarks she made in the wake of a 2007 sex-abuse scandal that flourished at Oprah’s Leadership Academy for Girls. Well good news, they have settled out of court. Lawyers for both women said Oprah and the former headmistress met without their lawyers and amicably resolved their differences leading to the settlement. I wonder how much money she had to give her! More money, money problems!
