THE 8TH ANNUAL HOODIE AWARDS HOSTED BY STEVE HARVEY

T he multi-talented, Steve Harvey, lite the Las Vegas stripe up over the weekend, (if that was anymore possible) with the 8th Annual Hoodie Awards at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The Black star power joining Steve for this year’s awards were, Fantasia, Sherri Shepherd, Holly Robinson Peete, Joe, Victoria Rowell, LisaRaye, Angie Stone, and many others.

For eight consecutive years, Steve Harvey and his staff have recognize community leaders and businesses for their outstanding leadership and service in 12 categories including, Best High School, Best High School Teacher, Best Church, Best Community Leader, Best Fried Chicken, Best Nail Salon, Best Detailing, Best Barbershop and Best Gospel Choir.

The Hoodie Awards were created, because Steve “believe that we’re all created equal and it’s not fame or fortune that makes an ordinary person extraordinary, but it’s the things they do to help others and to uplift their communities that makes them special.”
