USHER TO RECRUIT VIRTUAL DANCERS FOR AMERICAN EXPRESS UNSTAGED SHOW

U sher is jumping on board the hologram bandwagon, by having virtual dancers at his upcoming show in London, where fans can also join him on stage. Usher is inviting fans to a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform on-stage with him…virtually. The R&B star will be using the hologram technology combined with social media and avatars in order to create a completely futuristic concert experience at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on June 11th. The concert will be streamed live on Usher’s VEVO channel and fans will be able to virtually dance with him during the performance of his latest hit Scream.

“Literally, people will be able to create their own avatar and have it dance on the screen with Usher,” director of the concert webcast, Hamish Hamilton said. Live audience tweets and a real-time camera feed from the director’s booth will also be streamed during this completely innovative performance.
